My Family Ancestry

I have recently started to work on gathering information on my family ancestry. Not an easy task by far. My family seems to be non-existent and i don't seen to be able to find any help in this department with information to get me started. I am going to start with my fathers side of the family. I have posted a picture of my grandmother and grandfather. If anyone knows of helpful websites or ways to find out info please email me at night_angel32@hotmail.com Thanks!

I believe my grandfather to be either Italian or Hispanic .... not sure ...

What Is Love?

  • Weather:

‘Amore’

I’ve often wondered what love was

I’d thought I had found it several times before

Just to realize that it was not true at all

I was ready to give up but you opened my eyes

At first I didn’t see just how much you meant to me

I knew there was something special about you

But I was afraid to admit it to my heart

You could have given up on me

But you kept me in mind

You opened up your heart to me

And for that I give you mine.

Change of Seasons

  • Weather: 70 degrees
  • Question Of The Day: What is your favorite hobby?

Hello All!

Don’t you just love spring time with the temperatures growing ever so warmer with each passing day and the flowers blooming outside your window? Well, I don’t know about you, but I enjoy seeing the seasons change. My favorite seasons would have to be spring and fall. It seems that Mother Nature is at her busiest during those times of year. It also inspires me to write! The only problem with that is finding the time. Between classes and caring for my two children it is hard to find time to sit down, let alone think LOL. Well, I am trying.

Another thought for everyone to think about. If you would like information on how you can order a hand-crafted pillow for your child or someone you know (custom made with what you want on them) I have a friend that can do just that. Soon I plan to post some pictures of some of these pillows that she has made. If interested or have questions just leave me a message or email me at night_angel32@hotmail.com with the subject ‘hand-crafted pillow’.

My book French Blood is still available for order if you would like to own a copy. Below you will find a couple of reviews that it has received.

I hope to continue on the second installment soon which at this moment is titled,

French Blood Two: the Journal of Angelina Blanc

"This short novel is written with a fast-paced, no-nonsense style. Here, Sara and Tamara, (two young adult cousins) are enjoying a bit of the `night life' - like we all do in our youth. However, their experience was quite different. Instead of fun parties and kissing boys, these two girls find themselves thrown into a conflict between vampires - a conflict with deep roots in desperate love and heavy obsession. Twisted with memories that were not her own, Sara finds herself - from another lifetime. You know it is a good story when you are still thinking about it days later. `But was Tamara someone from the past? What about poor Antonio who showed such affection for Sara?' Thoughts like these are still ringing in my mind. Elizabeth Sanchez provided a unique twist to the often over-saturated vampire theme. Get this book - you will enjoy it! "

Review by Lillian Brummet, co-author of the book

Trash Talk - a guide for anyone concerned about their impact on the environment.

“French Blood by Elizabeth Sanchez combines mystery, suspense, fantasy, romance, the past, and the present into one amazing story.  The main character, Sara, finds an old journal in her attic.  She starts to read it as she visits her cousin, Tamara, in France.  The journal tells a story of a young woman's life from centuries ago.  The journal's mystery soon unfolds as Sara and Tamara attend a party at a vacant castle.

The author, Elizabeth Sanchez, combines several genres into the story that will appeal to all kinds of readers.  The plot was very unique because it combines elements of the past, present, and supernatural, yet it is easy to relate to the modern day characters.  The dialogue reminds me of high school years, and the characters were well developed.”  Five stars *****
